“THE 2022 FASHION MARKET, SHIFTS & STRATEGIES”: A REFLECTION ON THE FASHION MARKET FOR THE LAST OF THE #PLAYFASHION LIVE TALKS

Circular design and virtual fashion: are these to be the macro trends for the fashion market in the coming years? Aiming to find an answer to this question is the “2022 fashion market, shifts & strategies,” the last in a series of online meetings promoted by Expo Riva Schuh, scheduled for Tuesday 10th November at 14:00 (CEST).

Expo Riva Schuh and Gardabags conclude the series of appointments dedicated to the most current of themes for the world of men’s and women’s footwear and accessories: the webinar aims to analyse – by means of concrete case studies, which examine the matter from a more commercial perspective – the impact that circular design and virtual fashion will have on the way in which fashion itself is produced, purchased and sold in 2022 and beyond.
Amongst the most pressing topics at this time is the growing attention to sustainability: circular design is beginning, in fact, to carve out a pivotal role in the creation and dissemination of new production models, readdressing the value of resources and energy, and pushing to redefine strategic choices in the field of processes and products.

Just like the previous webinars, the objective of the third live talk in the PLAYfashion series is to provide all the producers and buyers in the volume footwear, leather goods and accessories sectors with the right tools to enable them to orientate themselves in the new economic scenario imposed upon us by the Coronavirus. – explains Alessandra Albarelli, Managing Director of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi – Accompanying the protagonists of the fashion market in the difficult challenge of facing change, allowing them to see themselves projected into the future, to reinvent themselves and be innovative with their products and production techniques is, regardless of the difficult context in which we find ourselves operating today, a responsibility that our exhibition continues to feel must be a priority. And it is with this very spirit that Expo Riva Schuh and Gardabags will dedicate their third talk to sustainability, an issue that is always dear to this fair because we consider it to be a strong lever towards the future of the sector.”

Leading the live talk will be Maria Eugenia Errobidarte, Senior Consultant of WGSN Mindset, and Enrico Cietta, economist and CEO of Diomedea.

The “2022 fashion market, shifts & strategies” will be transmitted online in English and Italian on the exhibition website of Expo Riva Schuh and Gardabags. Participation is free of charge and is open to everyone by pre-registration at the following link: https://exporivaschuh.it/en/webinars-registrations.
